Athena Legacy Solutions, a wealth advisory firm, is proud to announce Sara Kermenski, CFP®, AIF® joined the firm as a Financial Advisor on July 27, 2020.
Sara will be expanding the firm’s financial planning capabilities and brings with her more than 9 years of experience. She creates customized financial plans for clients that include retirement income and estate planning, tax efficiency, education planning, risk mitigation, goal setting and more. Sara will further develop the integration of life and Long-Term Care insurance with the financial plans of our clients.
Prior to joining Athena Legacy Solutions, she worked at a Vermont-based wealth management firm with roles ranging from consulting on 401(k) plan design, conducting mutual fund analytics, helping employees with financial education, comprehensive planning for individual clients and social media marketing. She is passionate about helping women, couples and business owners position themselves before, during and after a major transition such as retirement, inheritance, or loss of a spouse.

Sara’s life changed for the better in 2016 when she found out she was expecting twins. With an active toddler, two infants, and a desire to keep working, she realized she had to be laser focused about how she spent her time. Sara completed her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2017 with one goal in mind – dedicate her career to delivering the highest level of financial planning to those seeking to work with her.
In addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, Sara has the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 Securities licenses, the Vermont Life & Health license, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association. She lives in Vermont with her husband, 3 kids, and 12 hens.
